Pupil Premium Funding is a grant from the government given to schools to pay for resources and provision to help pupils in Reception to Year 6 to reach their full potential regardless of their background or financial situation.

It’s provided for pupils who:
- are registered for free school meals
- have been registered for free school meals at any point in the past six years
- are, or have been, in care
- have parents in the armed forces (this is known as service pupil premium)
The school uses the money in various ways to support individuals and groups of children. Each year the school publishes how they have spent the Pupil Premium Grant. The school has to evaluate the impact of how Pupil Premium money is spent.
