Little Sparkles Class
Welcome to our EYFS class at St Andrew’s CE Primary School. We are a class of Nursery and Reception aged children. We are thrilled to welcome you and your children as part of our learning community.
In our EYFS class, we believe that every child is unique and has the potential to achieve great things. Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where your child can thrive and develop a love for learning.
In Little Sparkles, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which focuses on the individual needs and interests of each child. Through a play-based approach, we encourage children to explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them. Our curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced to ensure that children build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills across all areas of learning.
We place a strong emphasis on developing children’s communication and language skills, as well as their early reading and phonics knowledge. Our expert teachers use proven instructional practices to ensure that every child develops the necessary literacy and numeracy skills for future learning success.
In our EYFS class, we value the importance of fostering positive relationships and promoting emotional well-being. We create a caring and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued. We encourage children to develop their social skills, resilience, and independence, preparing them for the next stages of their educational journey.
We believe that parents and carers play a crucial role in their child’s education. We actively encourage open communication and collaboration, and we are always here to support and guide you. We will regularly share information about your child’s progress, and we welcome your involvement in their learning journey on our online platform, Class Dojo and during handover times.
We are excited to embark on this learning adventure with your child and look forward to building a strong partnership with you. Together, we will create a positive and enriching experience for your child in our EYFS class.
